This is a beautiful love song, a duet by you and Jesus. The song is like many of the Psalms: Some verses are sung by you in the first person and some by Jesus in the first person. The first verse is Genesis 1:2 and the last verse is the assurance from Jesus that it doesn't matter how bad you have been, He still has the power and the desire to forgive you.
